Here’s some wild news. More than 150 new species of wildlife have been documented on campus, thanks to the effort of student volunteers who covered the university grounds to spot and record its fauna during the NTU BioBlitz 2024 exercise. This brings the total number of unique wildlife species on campus to almost 400. Among the rarer ones discovered were a wasp-like army ant drone and a spider that disguises itself as an ant. Luckily for us, these critters couldn’t escape the attention of our eagle-eyed students.
