NTU may be just over 30 years old, but it already shares the table with institutions backed by centuries of history. It recently reached the top 30 of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, making it the youngest university among this distinguished group. The rankings acknowledged NTU’s strengths in leading industr y collaborations, research quality and global outlook as a research-intensive university that creates societal impact. Two other major global rankings, Quacquarelli Symonds and US News & World Report, placed NTU 15th and 27th respec tively.
