Fresh food for thought

What’s your impression of local produce? It certainly isn’t trendy, which is what a group of NTU students is trying to remedy. Through their campaign, Fresh off the Dot, they hope to highlight the benefits of picking locally-grown food, such as getting fresher produce and reducing our carbon footprint. It may come as a surprise to you that there are more than 100 farms in Singapore. Don’t know where to start? Simply keep your eyes peeled for the SG Fresh Produce logo when you’re at the supermarket.
